Beers
As the warm weather rolls in Thai Tales has
introduced a new selection of handcrafted beers and ciders from
Manly Sydney, Byron Bay, New Zealand - and that’s just to
name a few. Be sure to take a look in the fridge or on one of the
special boards.
What's in our Dish?
Carrots/Potatoes:
Rich in the soluble fibre that is essential for healthy bowel function,
reducing blood cholesterol levels and also important providers of
vitamins, minerals and specific phytochemicals that protect vital
organs.
Beans:
Aan excellent sauce of calcium, iron, copper zinc, phosphorus, potassium
and magnesium.
Celery:
Contains generous amounts of folic acid and is also a mild diuretic
helping to prevent fluid retention.
Broccoli/Chinese
Cabbages:
There vitamin C and enzymes are well preserved -100g will provide
almost 20 percent of the recommended daily allowance - and it also
contains potassium and calcium.
Onion:
have been used traditionally for the treatment of many respiratory
problems, as well as rheumatism arthritis and gout.
Red Capsicum:
Rich in vitamin A and C, potassium and silicon.
Zucchini:
Contains known anti-inflammatory nutrients, including vitamin C,
folate and zinc.
Bamboo Shoot:
A good source of thiamine, vitamin B6 and potassium.
Corns:
Contains high nutrients such as: thiamine (vitamin B1), pantothenic
acid (vitamin B5), folate and vitamin C.
Ripe tomatoes:
Helps protect against heart diseases and cancer of breast.
Rice:
Is low in fat and provides protein and most of the B vitamins. It
is gluten-free, so it is suitable for coeliacs.
Garlic:
Is a powerful antibiotic, antiseptic and antifungal and helps the
body to get rid of toxic substances like alcohol and heavy metal.
Meat of
any sort:
Is an excellent source of protein, a rich provider of most easily
absorbed and an effective provider of B vitamins and other minerals. |
