Harmony
Woolgoolga has the largest regional Sikh/Punjabi population in Australia
and it is the site of the first Sikh temple built in this country.
The local Sikh Festival celebrates the cohesiveness and harmony between
the Sikh culture and the wider community. April 14th is the festival
of Vaisakhi, the Sikh New Year so it is a special day in Woolgoolga.
