Most Australians know Tamworth as the Australian Country Music Capital and we’re proud of our worldwide fame for the annual Tamworth Country Music Festival – a giant carnival of music and fun in January that makes up the 10-day party. It’s the friendly festival - more than 50,000 visitors a day share in a music menu of some 5000 performances by 800 different artists at venues all over the place.
