Cous Cous Recipe
Semolina, water, rice substitute, quick and easy, great complimentary meal. International appeal.

About Cous Cous
Cous Cous, Originally from North africa, is an exotic International dish. It is produced from wheat, milled into fine semolina, mixed with water and made into fluffy grains. An ideal substitute for rice, it is quick and easy to prepare and is perfect with meat, fish and vegetables. It is a perfect compliment to todays lifestyle and every kind of taste.

Ingredients (1 Serve or 100gms )
1/2 cup (125ml) of water
1-2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
1 Teaspoon of Salt
1/2 a cup of Cous Cous
1 Teaspoon Butter

Method
Add 1/2 cup (125ml) of water to a saucepan
Add 1-2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil
Add 1 Teaspoon of Salt and bring to the boil
Remove from the heat.
Stir and pour in 1/2 a cup (100 grams) of Cous Cous.
Cover and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes while it swells.
Add 1 Teaspoon of butter
Heat again on very low heat for 3 minutes while stirring with a fork to separate the grains.
