The People
Chandra is the owner, Maitre’D, and father of most of the staff. Truly a family operation! His infectious good humour and concern for your enjoyment, combined with his enthusiastic staff, makes the level of service stand out in Coffs Harbour.
There is a fully stocked bar and a fascinating wine list featuring several wines from the local area. Try Raleigh Winery’s red and whites and an organic red from Kia-Ora Winery in Bucca, both of which use the Chambourcin grape variety. Kia-Ora specialise in preservative free wines to suit those who suffer from sulphate allergies, or just appreciate the subtly of different tastes. Melville Hill Estate wines and sparkling, red and white, low preservative wines from Personal Vintage also appear. The Wright Robertson Winery from Glen Innes supply their organic wines.

Offering something for everyone. Breads and a variety of fresh salads are all made on the premises. For the seafood lover the entrees’ are a treat. The daily specials board features some excellent choices. You can taste that all meals are cooked to order, not pre-prepared, and use the freshest locally available ingredients. The kids menu features the perennial favourites. Kids menu meals include a glass of soft drink and if everyone has cleaned their plate to Chef Mels satisfaction, ice cream and topping. But remember, Mel will come and check you ate all your dinner! Make sure you leave room for dessert.
