Moonee Beach offers holiday makers a relaxing village atmosphere. There is a fabulous tidal estuary, which is suitable for children to swim at. Moonee Beach has a great surfing beach and is recognised as one of the best fishing spots around. The nearby reserve has facilities such as a playground, tennis courts, picnic shelters, bbqs, toilets and beach showers. Go whale watching or watch the dolphins from the headland.

Moonee Beach Nature Reserve
North of Coffs Harbour (NSW Australia). National Parks and Wildlife Service manage the reserve which covers an area of 336 hectares (830 acres). The Reserve is home to a number of rare native plants including the ground covering Zieria prostrata.
